| Gallery A native North Dakotan, Alfred "Jason" Lindell's work is intrinsically connected to the prairie landscape and the inherent spirituality there in. As Jason states, "A bit of the prairie always makes it into my work. Sometimes I address it directly and other times it is on the peripheral, but it is always there." His work is generally accepted as being beyond simple landscape. In the swirls of prairie life, basic themes have begun to emerge concerning environmental stewardship, man's place in the order of nature, and rural out-migration that threatens his home town and rural areas in North Dakota. Jason's work ranges from installations of leaded windows and custom fused tile to finely crafted bowls, plates, and jewelry. |
